School Uniform Change In 2023
CAMST Uniform Changes – 2023
CAMST is introducing changes to the school uniform to strengthen the school’s identity and ensure learners are easily recognizable, especially during excursions and events. The changes come after it was noted that our current uniform is nearly identical to those of other schools, and our school name is not clearly represented on items like ties and badges. In addition, the current sports uniform lacked consistency and left learners looking untidy and unidentifiable during Life Orientation and sporting activities.
The updated uniform includes new school ties, badges, girls’ skirts, and a more breathable, coordinated sports outfit. These changes are aimed at creating a sense of unity and pride among our learners while being mindful of affordability.
Grade 8 learners for 2023 have already begun using the new uniform. Grade 9 and 10 learners are encouraged to join this transition to ensure a consistent identity for the GET phase. Grade 11 learners may participate if they wish, while Grade 12s are exempt due to the additional costs involved in their final year.
Parents can purchase the new school uniform items from Toppers Uniform in Athlone. The sports uniform will be sized at school, with payment made directly via EFT to the supplier. The school will handle collection and distribution.
Your support in helping us build a stronger school image is sincerely appreciated.
